Back in my days of shitty jobs like store clerk, security guard, janitor… (yes, janitor), most people addressed me with hey man, dude, bro. No problem there. I addressed them with “Sir” or “Ma’am”. Every once in a while someone would address me with “Sir”, and for some strange reason I used to feel good about it. I would be usually nicer to such customers and managers. Perhaps work extra hard for them.
So lately, I decided to use Sir, Ma’am & Miss to address employees in at Starbucks & resturants. This has immidiatley increased the quality of service I get at these places.
I found this cool coffee place in Arlington. (I think I am addicted to finding new coffee places). Its simply called Amer’s Best Coffee.
So this week I ate at Wendy’s, Ihop, Republic, and Sonic’s. FInding a new place to eat everyday is tuffer than I originally thought. Just 4 more days left in the month.
Oh yeah I am glad 2nd Amendment lives on. While I, myself would never own a gun and even if I have one, i will not use it to defend myself, but I think we will be in serious trouble, if the lawmakers slowly start to erase founding principles of this nation.
last week was nightmare. I changed my work schedule to go in late and work late in the evening. I thought it would give me all the time to do my own things in the morning but I ended up just sleeping trough the mornings. There is not much I can do late at the night. So today I asked my boss to go back on original schedule.
I was on my way to home right but there was huge traffic jam on 360. So I decided to stop by Starbucks. I should have gone for rock climbing.
I didn’t run at all last week. So bad!
And I couldn’t work on my SCJD project and facebook project.
I was super busy with work stuff. I did manage to eat at new and different resturant everyday last week. Let me see, here are some of the places I ate at:
- Cool River Cafe
- Budz Spuds (near work)
- Astoria Coffee Shop (in Addison Circle)
- Boun Giorno
- Coffee Haus
- McDonalds
I have decided to get my own place. I already found the place. I think I will move in there on July 1st.
I just realized that I spend $8.00 to go to work and come back. Ouch!
My vacation got pushed to August. Oh well!
Ralph is back in town.
I guess I will work on SCJD now.
Last night I saw the ad for $5 large subs at Quizno’s. So today I ate at Quiznos. I would say their large subs are really large. I could not finish mine. Also there is more meat on the sub than Subway. I love to go back there soon.
Note that yesterday, and on Wednesday, I didn’t eat lunch thats why I didn’t post anything here.
Right next to McKesson is Subway and Jack in the Box. And thats where I have been eating lunch everyday. Finally I have gotten sick enough of those places to find new places. My Goal this month is to eat at the different place everyday for this month.
So on Monday I went to Long John Silver’s. That place is probably nastiest restaurant I have been in a while. I got Jumbo Fish special they had. It was greasiest food ever. I almost felt like puking.
On Tuesday, I went to Whataburger. Their WhataChikin sandwich was great.
And you might be wondering how I will decide where to eat. It will be based on advertisements, radio or TV.
I want to see if I can actually find a new fast food/cheap restaurant everyday.
