Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Ayden, and he had a little dog called Simba.

One day, Ayden and Simba were playing outside when they saw the moon. “Let’s go to the moon!” said Ayden. But he didn’t know how.

Then Simba remembered their friend — Rocky the Red Rocket. Rocky could take them to the moon!

So Ayden and Simba went to Rocky’s house and knocked on the door. But no one answered. “Let me find him,” said Simba. “I can find anyone by sniffing their smell.” Simba sniffed and sniffed and sniffed — and found Rocky swimming in the pool.

“Hey Rocky, how are you?” asked Ayden.

“I’m good, fellas. What are you two up to?” replied Rocky.

“We really, really want to go to the moon,” said Ayden politely. “Next time you go, can you please take us with you?”

“Oh, guess what?” said Rocky. “I’m going to the moon right now. Let’s go — if you can keep up!”

Ayden and Simba got so excited. They jumped into Rocky.

“3… 2… 1… Blast off!”

Rocky zoomed into space and landed on the moon. The moon was so beautiful. Ayden and Simba climbed out and started to play. It was bouncy, and it was red, and it smelled like cheese!

So Simba licked the moon. “The moon tastes like cheese too!” Ayden took a small bite. And guess what — the moon really was made out of cheese.

Ayden and Simba ate a lot of moon. They got so full.

Then Rocky called out, “It’s time to go home!” He flew them all the way back. Ayden and Simba thanked Rocky… and then took a nice big nap.
